Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for the past forty years. Most famously, she is known because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s she began her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. She then acted in a number of Broadway performances before she was an international star alongside Li'l Abner in. Her album, It's Too Late for Tina the in the same year. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This movie was an enormous success and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her instructor. In 1964, she signed with CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to move between Broadway and Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character opposed her perceived image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In recent years she's also been the most sought-after director for popular television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. The family she was born into moved from Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
